Inter-library Loan Service
This service
provides access to stocks which are not available in the library, through the loan
of originals or photocopies of review articles, as well as the use of our stocks
in other libraries, optimizing the investment in books and reviews.
Service for libraries and documentation centres
Loans
of originals and photocopies of journals held in our stock can be requested. Requests
can be made as follows:

Books are
loaned for one month from date of receipt and must be sent and returned by registered
post. They can only be consulted in the reading room.
Service for users of the centre:
Users can access original documents or photocopies which are not available
in this library .
Personal loan service
Access to this service is for card holders of the
CSIC libraries . This card can be issued in any of the libraries and used in all
the libraries of the network. This service is restricted to CSIC staff , although
it may also be made available to external users such as teachers, researchers, doctors
and graduates, with the approval of the library service manager.
All existing
documents in the network are available for loan except:

Periodical publications

Rare and valuable books

Unpublished theses,
dissertations and final year project
Atlases.
Items can
be borrowed for a maximum period of four weeks and may be renewed if not reserved
for another reader.
