"Reconstrucción histórica de la dinámica de inundación de las marismas de Doñana mediante teledetección”

Proyecto financiado por el Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia (Ref: CGL2006-02247, convocatoria 2006) y cofinanciado con fondos FEDER.

Las marismas de Doñana constituyen una zona húmeda de reconocida importancia internacional. A pesar de ello, la dinámica de la inundación estacional de sus marismas, aunque descrita desde un punto de vista cualitativo, no ha recibido apenas estudios cuantitativos y carece de una reconstrucción histórica. El banco de imágenes históricas de satélite disponibles en el Laboratorio de SIG y Teledetección de la Estación Biológica de Doñana (LAST-EBD) son la base de este proyecto, en el que se prentende poner en valor esta información para reconstruir los niveles de inundación, turbidez, profundidad y cobertura de vegetación de las marismas durante los últimos 30 años ....leer más
