Documentary Canal Sur Television: emerging diseases

The television programs "Espacio Protegido" y "Tierra y Mar" of  Canal Sur Television (Andalusian TV) of April 4 and 15, respectively, show how researchers at the EBD-CSIC are studying the factors that contribute to the spread of certain contagious diseases such as malaria, West Nile virus or the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever. Climate change has generated variations in the distribution areas of many species, among them those that function as vectors or carriers of diseases, such as mosquitoes, generating new health risks in Spain.
