I work on conservation biology and global change; including mechanistic approaches to population ecology, management and conservation, with a special emphasis on spatial issues, including habitat and movement ecology, macroecological patterns and general descriptions of traits across species with a focus on those associated with vulnerability and threats; and specific applied issues such as the relationship between roads, traffic and conservation. I am especially interested in the bidirectional feedback between theory and application.
