19 researchers, among world top 2% scientists, according to Stanford University

Scientists from the Stanford University and other institutions have updated the World's Top 2% Scientists ranking, which shows separate data for career-long and single year impact. According to their career impact, 17 researchers from the Doñana Biological Station-CSIC are included. It is remarkable that the researcher Carlos M. Herrera are enlisted among the top 5000 in the world and the researcher Pedro Jordano among the top 8000. This fact is impressive, considering that this list registers more than 190.000 of the world's top scientists (from the more than 8 million scientists considered to be active worlwide). Based on the bibliometric data compiled during the last year, the EBD researchers including the list are 19.
