This talk explores how amphibians cope with heat and dehydration across life stages, focusing on behavioral thermal tolerance in frog embryos. I combined experimental heating, thermal measurements, and field observations to examine how hydration, evaporative cooling, clutch structure, and development shape heat-induced hatching. These findings highlight how early-life responses to environmental stress can influence our understanding of climate vulnerability across organisms at early life stages.
