Global change is expected to strongly affect the transmission dynamics of vector-borne diseases. This thesis investigates how factors such as rising temperatures, urbanization, and antibiotic exposure alter mosquito microbiota and influence pathogen transmission. By combining field studies and laboratory experiments, this project aims to better understand how environmental change shapes mosquito biology and avian malaria transmission.
