Dylan Jessy Vonhoff

I am a PhD researcher working on the viviparous toad genus Nectophrynoides from Tanzania. We use comparative genomic and transcriptomic approaches to resolve the phylogeny of the genus and investigate gene expression during embryonic development to better understand the evolution of viviparity. My research interests include amphibian microbiomes, particularly their vertical transmission, infectious diseases, and the evolution of parental care.
