Ecology and Evolution
Alejandro
González Voyer
His research focuses on gaining a better understanding of the evolution of phenotypic traits, such as morphology, life history and behaviour. He is also interested in gaining a better understanding of the factors that affect the accumulation and distribution of biodiversity, by analysing temporal patterns of diversification and the factors that influence speciation and extinction. To address these questions, he employs a macroevolutionary approach using comparative phylogenetic methods.
