My research involves the study of environmental factors that generate stress in wildlife, and the response mechanisms to this stress that wildlife has developed in the wild. My research covers both physiological and behavioural responses and focuses mainly on birds (kites, eagles and owls in Doñana, among other species). My research also involves the search for early warning indicators of environmental stress and I am interested in extrapolating the results to other wildlife groups, including humans.
