My scientific interests cover a wide range of topics within evolutionary ecology and conservation biology. I am currently focusing on four main lines of research:
- Ecology and conservation of parrots – Ecological roles of parrots - Ecology of invasive species – Impact of human-induced changes on steppe birds.
The results of my research are disseminated to society through publication in various media, through management measures for the natural environment and threatened species implemented by various public authorities, and even through legislative changes.
