My research focuses on understanding the impacts of global environmental change on biodiversity, as well as on developing innovative and interdisciplinary approaches to address these challenges through conservation and restoration.
Since joining the EBD, I have been developing a research group to expand and deepen our work on four interconnected scientific objectives:
I) Components of global change, biodiversity responses, and their policy relevance;
II) Monitoring, data mobilization, and establishing baselines for conservation;
III) Renaturalization as a path toward an optimistic approach to biodiversity conservation;
IV) Connecting science, policy, and society for effective biodiversity conservation.
