I studied Biology at the Complutense University of Madrid and then completed a Master's degree in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology at Universidad Pablo de Olavide. During my master's program, I joined Jordi Figuerola's lab at the Doñana Biological Station (EBD) through a JAE-Intro grant, where I studied different factors related to mosquito vectors. In January 2025, I began my PhD, focusing on the transmission of avian pathogens.
Thesis: Ecology of WNV in Andalusia: Strategies to Reduce the Risk of Transmission to Humans
Supervisors: Jordi Figuerola and Josué Martínez de la Puente
