My research focuses on conservation genetics, ecology and evolutionary biology, with a particular interest in how genetic diversity is generated and how it enables populations to adapt to different environments. This knowledge is crucial for understanding how environmental changes may impact the viability of populations in the future. By integrating ecological and genomic tools, my work aims to provide insights for conservation strategies in animal populations. My main study species is the gray wolf (Canis lupus)
