My research interests include the study of trophic ecology and interaction with human activities, mainly in seabirds, but also in other species such as fish, cetaceans, birds of prey and some mammal species. My projects cover the effect of different vectors of global change on these populations and the food webs in which they are integrated. To address these research topics I combine intrinsic markers, such as stable isotopes, with remote monitoring devices, and the extraction of environmental variables using Geographic Information Systems. I am very interested in long-term studies, using data series to assess the effect of global change on the study populations. In addition to being Deputy Director of EBD, I am the scientific head of the Stable Isotope Laboratory of EBD (LIE-EBD).
