Irbin Manuel Veliz Isidro

Bachelor's degree in Biology by the Complutense University of Madrid. Master in Biodiversity in the tropical areas and its Conservation (CSIC-UIMP). Currently doing a PhD under the supervision of Dr. Jennifer Ann Leonard. The project focuses on studying evolutionary and ecological aspects of small non-volant mammals from Southeast Asia, such as tupaids or endemic rodents. For that purpose, we use different approaches, such as DNA sequencing, stable isotopes analysis and niche modelling. This project is financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (PRE2021-097515).
